1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions:

• "Restford", "we", "us", "our" refers to the operator of the retirement information service at 19, Jalan Burma, 10050 George Town, Penang, Malaysia.
• "Service" refers to the educational sessions, workshops, and programmes offered by Restford, including the Landscape Session, Personal Records Organisation Workshop, and Retirement Information Companion Programme.
• "User", "you", "your" refers to any person who accesses the website at restforasd.pro or enquires about or registers for a Restford programme.
• "Content" refers to all materials produced by Restford including session materials, glossaries, filing templates, binders, and written guidance provided to participants.
• "Agreement" refers to these Terms and Conditions as accepted by the User.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, submitting an enquiry, or registering for a programme, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or register for any programme.

Our programmes are intended for adults aged 18 and above. By registering, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement.

3. Service Description

Restford provides educational sessions and document organisation workshops focused on the general retirement information landscape in Malaysia. Our services are educational in nature only. Nothing provided by Restford — in sessions, in written materials, or in follow-up communications — constitutes personal financial advice, investment advice, or any form of regulated financial service.

Our three current programmes are: (a) the Landscape Session at RM 620 per person; (b) the Personal Records Organisation Workshop at RM 2,250 per person; and (c) the Retirement Information Companion Programme at RM 4,380 per person. Prices are inclusive of all stated materials.

Sessions are held in George Town, Penang and are conducted primarily in English. Restford reserves the right to adjust session dates, formats, and group sizes with reasonable notice.

4. Registration and Booking

To book a programme, you must submit an enquiry through our website or by telephone and confirm your registration in writing (by email). A booking is confirmed only once you have received written confirmation from Restford.

You are responsible for ensuring that the contact details provided during registration are accurate. Restford will use these details for pre-session communications and logistics.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Arrive on time for sessions and bring the documents listed in any pre-session checklist sent to you.
• Treat facilitators and other participants with respect during all sessions.
• Use session content, templates, and materials for your own personal planning purposes only.
• Not record, photograph, or reproduce any Restford session content or materials for commercial purposes or distribution without written permission.
• Refrain from submitting sensitive personal financial data (account numbers, PINs, tax file numbers) in written communications with Restford.

6. Intellectual Property

All Content produced by Restford — including session materials, glossaries, filing templates, checklists, and binder inserts — remains the intellectual property of Restford. Participants are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use these materials for their own planning and record-keeping purposes.

You may not reproduce, resell, redistribute, or adapt Restford's Content for any commercial purpose without prior written consent.

7. Payment Terms

All fees are quoted and payable in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). Payment is due in full prior to attendance unless a separate written arrangement has been made. Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking.

Cancellation and refunds: If you cancel a booking more than 7 calendar days before the scheduled session date, you will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 7 calendar days of the session will not be refunded, but you may transfer your place to another person by notifying us in writing before the session. If Restford cancels a session for any reason, a full refund will be issued or an alternative date offered.

8. Educational Scope and Disclaimer

Restford's programmes are strictly educational. The information provided is of a general nature relating to the Malaysian retirement framework. It is not tailored to individual financial circumstances and must not be treated as personal financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, or any form of regulated advisory service.

For decisions relating to EPF withdrawals, SOCSO claims, private retirement schemes, insurance, or any other personal financial matter, you should consult the relevant official body directly (such as the Employees Provident Fund or PERKESO) or seek guidance from a licensed financial planner registered with the Securities Commission Malaysia or Bank Negara Malaysia.

Restford makes reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of session content against current official publications, but cannot warrant that all information is complete, current, or applicable to every individual circumstance.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under Malaysian law, Restford's total liability to you arising out of or in connection with any programme or these Terms shall not exceed the fee paid by you for the relevant programme.

Restford shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss, including any loss arising from decisions made in reliance on information provided in our sessions or materials.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud or for any matter that cannot lawfully be excluded under Malaysian consumer protection legislation.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Restford against any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of session materials, or any claim brought by a third party arising from your use of information provided in our programmes.

11. Termination

Restford reserves the right to refuse or terminate participation in any session if a participant behaves in a manner that is disruptive, disrespectful, or inconsistent with the educational purpose of the programme. In such circumstances, no refund will be issued.

You may withdraw from a registered programme in accordance with the cancellation policy in Section 7. Clauses relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution survive termination of this Agreement.

12. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall first be referred to informal resolution by contacting us at [email protected]. We will respond within 14 business days. If informal resolution is not possible, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Penang, Malaysia.

13. General Provisions

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Restford in respect of the subject matter herein and supersede all prior communications. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. A failure by Restford to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that right. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our website or participation in a programme after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
